I write realistic, edgy, honest, sometimes heartbreaking, often funny books about and for young people. Being a teenager sucked for me, and I’m still trying to write my way out of it. My latest book (June 2021) is called The Tragedy of Dane Riley. Dane Riley struggles with the idea of what it means to be normal and the age old question of, “To be, or not to be?” You can order signed copies from my dear friends at Chop Suey Books in Richmond, Virginia.
You won’t find me on social media much because between working full time, raising three kids, cleaning up after four dogs, and changing out the hamster cage each week I need all the free time I can get to write. But I always have time for messages from you, dear readers, and would love to hear from you on my contact page. If you are a teacher or librarian and you want to set up a visit with your library or classroom, I would love to hear from you, too.
Thanks for visiting.
